Tabouret MĂ©tallique Side Table
Jean ProuvĂ© designed Tabouret MĂ©tallique along with two other proposed models in metal in 1936 for the Maison dâĂ©ducation surveillĂ©e de Saint-Maurice. The design elaborated in the Jean ProuvĂ© studios never actually went into production, but is now being manufactured by Vitra for the first time. The underframe made of bent sheet metal exhibits structural affinities with the later TrapĂšze table.
Tabouret MĂ©tallique is a practical stool that can also be used as a small side table.
